 The Gopher Hydro Jet offers a solution.
Get to your emergency shut off valve with ease! This well
built design makes getting the wrench on the nut easy and fast. When you need to get the water shut off, time
is money. The Gopher Hydro Jet will save you money.
The purpose of this device is to remove the silty soil and clay that has been
either knocked into or silted into the valve box covering the gate valve nut and preventing the operation of the gate valve.
The Gopher Hydro Jet when turned on supplies a high pressure jet stream of water. This will turn any chunks of black dirt or clay into suspended particulate
in mere seconds exposing the nut on the gate valve allowing the tool to slip down onto the gate valve nut. As soon as your gain access to the gate valve nut you can
at that point turn on the valve box jets.
Once the Hydro Jet is inserted in the valve box it takes less than a minute for the process to be complete.
This will lift the suspended particulate up and out of the valve box with the high flow column of water supplied by either
the fire hydrant which is only a few feet away or a portable source of water. When the water runs clear the job is complete. You then pull the Gopher Hydro Jet and
use the steel valve box wrench to complete the process.
